Habitat for Humanity
We have been a strong supporter of Chatham county's Habitat for Humanity for years. We have been most involved in the Apostles' Build program where 12 churches come together to build one home. We have done this for 5 different homes and are working on our next one. To support this ministry of outreach and social justice we have two Chicken and Dumpling dinners after church during the year and charge $7 per plate. This raises most of the money which pays our portion of the building project. We are always blessed to have great workteams present for the work days and lots of good food provided by the church's membership.
