Souper Bowl of Caring
In 2009, we participated with the help of our church's Catechism Class in the Souper Bowl of Caring. We raised $441 for Chatham Outreach Alliance (CORA) along with the donation of 139 food items. We will continue to participate each year as we reach out into the world and try to help those who struggle with poverty, hunger, and injustice. The offering is collected on Super Bowl Sunday and then entered into the organization's website. During the actual Super Bowl, the nationwide totals are given.
