Women of the Church/Congregational Care for January 2010 meeting date has been changed from the first Friday to the second Friday, January 8, 2010 due to the Holiday.

Sunday, January 3, will be a carol-sing Sunday. Corkey and Linda Harris will be leading in worship while Pastor Troy is assisting Bill Browder in worship at Mt. Vernon Springs Presbyterian Church, Siler City.

More about the Baby Kits. During this workshop rotation, our children will be asked to bring items for the Baby Kits they will wrap to ship to a newborn during the December 27 workshop. The children may bring items anytime between November 8 and December 27. We will also ask our congregation if they would like to help with this project. 2 - t-shirts or undershirts (no onesies)
2 - washcloths
2 - gowns or sleepers
2 - diaper pins
1 - sweater or sweatshirt
2 - receiving blankets (one can be a knitted or crocheted)
6 - cloth diapers*

All items should be new. *(Target, Sears or on line.)

The Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be at 6:00pm. Please plan to worship with us and celebrate the coming of the Christ child, God with us, Emmanuel!
