Next Sunday, following worship there will be an informal time of discussion regarding the church's finances and recent actions of session. Following next Sunday, on July 26, there will be a congregational meeting following worship to amend a previous decision of the congregation regarding use of easement monies.

Vacation Bible School will be August 10-14 from 6:30-8:30pm for ages 3-12. Registration forms are out on the hallway table. Or, go online to www.vacationbibleschool.com/ppc to register your child or volunteer. For more information, call Kim Morris (919) 663-0917.

Do you want to meet other Christians in Pittsboro while learning more about our common faith? If so, you're invited to Gracepoint's Faith Forum on Thursday nights this month at 7:30. Gracepoint is located beside Holt's Interior on Hwy. 64E.

On Tuesday, July 21, Aug.4, and Aug. 18, PPC will be hosting a book study on Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Life Together. Books can be bought at most bookstores or online at www.amazon.com. Cost per book is about $10. We will meet and discuss from 6-8pm. Read introduction through Chapter 2 for our first meeting. Meetings will be held at the church.

St. Bart's Episcopal Church on Salisbury Street, Pittsboro, invites anyone who is interested at PPC to attend their contemplative prayer service on the first Sunday of each month at 5:15 pm. It's a small group but growing... a nice mix of quiet and Taize, sometimes with a piano player, sometimes recorded music. Angel Food Ministries is COMING! Linda Kolpack-Martindale has agreed to be our Team Leader for this ministry. We will be partnering with Mt. Sinai AME Church and Gracepoint here in Pittsboro. If you want to learn more about the ministry, just visit www.angelfoodministries.org and check it out.

A Congregational Meeting has been called for July 26 following the worship hour for the purpose of "revising the previous decision regarding use of the money from the sale of the easement". A presentation will be made by the Finance committee regarding the budget and further budget questions can be addressed then.

Pittsboro Presbyterian Church is still collecting worn women's shoes. The proceeds benefit Relay for Life. The collection box is under the table outside the rest-rooms. If you have any questions, please speak to Sherry Salyer.
