Thank you to Charlie Cooper and Warren Bailey for helping us reflect on the role of father in our Christian homes! Next year, we will be looking for women to help us reflect on the role of mothers as we celebrate Mother's Day in May 2010.

St. Bart's Episcopal Church on Salisbury Street, Pittsboro, invites anyone who is interested at PPC to attend their contemplative prayer service on the first Sunday of each month at 5:15 pm. It's a small group but growing... a nice mix of quiet and Taize, sometimes with a piano player, sometimes recorded music. For more information, please contact Karen Ladd, the organizing, minister, at temenos@hotmail.com.

Angel Food Ministries is COMING! Linda Kolpack-Martindale has agreed to be our Team Leader for this ministry. We will be partnering with Mt. Sinai AME Church and Gracepoint here in Pittsboro. If you want to learn more about the ministry, just visit www.angelfoodministries.org and check it out.

Is there a talent or hobby that you would like to share with the congregation? Do you have a passion for a topic that you would like to talk about with others? If so, call the church office (542-4702) and let's see if we can find a time for you to share this with the church and the community.

Please join us for a Hymn Sing Worship Service on July 5th during the 10:00am worship hour. Corkey and Linda Harris will be leading the service and Brian Harbour will provide the musical accompaniment.

A Congregational Meeting has been called for July 26 following the worship hour for the purpose of "revising the previous decision regarding use of the money from the sale of the easement".
