Beginning SUNDAY, JUNE 7, 2009 worship will begin at 10:00am. Children's Church School will take place after the "Time with Children" portion of the worship service for children ages 3-7. Children 7 and older are encouraged to stay in worship while children under three are invited to stay in worship or the church's nursery.

Don't forget that our Fifth Sunday Special Offering will be taken on Pentecost Sunday this month. The Special Offering is in addition to the regular offering of the church. If you would like for your offering to go to CORA's services then please designate your offering on the memo line of your check or on the outside of the offering envelope. Thank you.

If anyone is interested in ordering coffee through the Presbyterian Coffee Program, please let Linda (secretary) or Troy know and we will get an order together. Chocolate is not available this time of the year.

Living Large ends on Pentecost Sunday until it resumes in the Fall. The session would like to thank the Christian Education Committee and all the volunteers who've made Living Large possible by recognizing them and all the participants on Pentecost Sunday during worship. Beginning in June, we will begin a 10:00am worship hour which includes a time for children's instruction following the Time with the Children during worship. We will focus on music this summer having the children learn songs, the Gloria Patri, the doxology, and other fun music. If you have music skills you would like to lend this summer, please call Jerome Huneycutt (542-3813).

Troy will be out of town for his final D.Min. class from June 1-12. This final class will be the preparation for the writing phase of the research project. The project will focus on the use of Family Systems Theory within the formal leadership circle of the church. Thank you again for the support everyone has offered through this process. If all goes well Troy will graduate with a doctorate degree in June 2010.
