A Congregational Meeting/Meeting of the Corporation will be held following worship on Sunday, September 27 for the purposes of electing new church officers, selecting a Nominating committee for 2010, and appointing new officers for the corporation. Please plan to attend.
Are you looking for more Family Time? If so, then come to the church for dinner on Sunday, September 20 at 5:30 to have dinner on us! Will introduce and idea for Family Time Nights this Fall and plan some dates & activities.
There will be an Adult Education Class offered on World Religions here at PPC on Thursday, September 24, October 1, and 8, from 6-8 in the Fellowship Hall. Each night we will highlight a different religion covering Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism.

It's Book Club time again! This month we are reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan. Pastor Troy has a few copies for purchase if you cannot make it to the bookstore to buy one. The cost is $12/per book. We will meet to discuss the book on Wednesday, September 23 and 30 from 7-8pm in the church Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend along for the discussion.
Dr. Nuhad Tomeh, Mission Co-worker, PCUSA, currently serving in Iraq, will speak on September 30th at Evergreen United Methodist Church at 7:00 P.M. All area churches are invited to attend. Dr. Tomeh serves as associate general secretary to the Middle East Council of Churches. He is in charge of the Iraq relief and rehabilitation program whose primary mission is to provide supplies and assistance in the rehabilitation of schools. Healthcare and other community centers are also served. He is deeply committed to the cause of peace and reconciliation in the midst of religious and political turmoil in the Middle East. A reception will follow the program. Please join us and members of other churches for fellowship and sharing of ideas about our role in Peacemaking in the world.
