The Session approved at its January meeting to welcome Family Promise of Chatham County into the church building through offering office space and meeting space. Family Promise of Chatham County Executive Director, Faythe Canson Clarke, will be occupying the space where the copier is presently located as her office. Some rearranging is in process and along with the construction of a Worship Closet, we will be prepared later this Spring for her to move in. What this will mean is that PPC will support directly the ministry of Family Promise to Chatham County, host potential mentoring and other educational opportunities, as well as provide an office space for the Pittsboro side of Chatham. We celebrate this opportunity and the willingness of our leaders to partner directly with other groups throughout our county.
