Pittsboro Presbyterian Church will begin the observance of Holy week this year with Passion/Palm Sunday on Sunday, March 28.  The children and adults will receive palm branches at the beginning of worship and use them throughout the worship service.  Children between the ages of 3-7 may attend Children's Church following a Time with the Children during worship.  

We will worship on Maundy Thursday at Pittsboro United Methodist Church at 7:30; Thursday, April 1. 

The Good Friday Service will be at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church at 12:00 on Friday April 2 with a Stations of the Cross walk through Pittsboro to follow until 3:00. 

Our Ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service will be at 6:30am here at PPC on Sunday, April 4; with our regular worship hour at 11:00.  Children are invited to stay in worship for the whole hour on this Sunday as we celebrate the ressurection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Several Pittsboro area congregations are joining together in ecumenical worship for Ash Wednesday.  We will gather at St. Bartholomew's on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:30pm.  Worship will include the imposition of ashes and a service of Communion.  Everyone is invited to attend.

PPC has been invited to gather with other community churches at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church on Tuesday, February 16 from 5:30-7:00pm for a Pancake Supper.

Sister's Voices will be having their Winter Concert at Pittsboro Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 13 at 7:00pm.  The public is invited.  The concert will be held in the church sanctuary.  Parking is available on the street, in the lot of the Chatham County Public Health Department, and in the gravel lot just west of the church building.
